A new survey by AAPI DATA shows that awareness of anti-Asian violence and hate crimes is higher than for other groups, indicating the effectiveness of the #StopAsianHate campaign and related activism.
The survey also indicates that Mixed Race and Black people experienced the most hate crimes, followed by Asian Americans. 19% of multiracial people said they experienced hate crimes, nearly 1 in 5. White people faced the least hate crimes, at 6%, approximately 1 in 20.
